I run a Chasecam 520 resolution bullit cam and PDR-100 in my racecar. My video on sunny days is VERY bright and the colors aren't represented well (mostly greens and reds?) - I was at the track this weekend, viewing someone else's video and it was AWESOME!!
I asked what setup they were using and it was the SAME setup as mine.
They suggested that I look into a UV filter setup.
Does Chasecam or another company offer something "turn key" for my bullit camera?
Is it possible I'm headed in the right direction with pursuing a filter setup? ...it makes sense to me but I'm not that edumakated with regards to video. :)
FWIW, my video has ALWAYS looked like this, whether I was using a Chasecam plugged into a mini-DV camera in a Pelican Box or using my recently acquired PDR-100...so it's apparent I should address this issue at the camera end - no?
FYI, I think the PDR-100 is the BEST THING since sliced bread, I wish I would've gotten ahold of one a long time ago...love it, especially with the lan-C button! :D
