PDR powers off when cam is connected

Tried to use my new auto-on PDR100 for the second time this past weekend, got one track session in but starting with the second onc the unit powered on, it would give the splash screen and then shut off. I ultimately determined that it will stay on and let you go through the menus fine when the camera is not connected, but connecting it causes it to power off a second later. Whole setup worked fine three weeks ago. The cam is my original one from Dec 2006 when I bought my original PDR.

Does this sound like a PDR issue or camera issue? I have the supercaps PDR so I can't really test anything without the car since it's hard wired. If this sounds like a camera issue then I'll just buy a new cam and deal with the old one later since I have a three day race starting in a week, but if it sounds like the PDR instead let me know. I haven't sent my old PDR in for repair yet so I'll be out of luck next weekend if this is a PDR issue.

Thanks Randall, I went ahead and shipped everything I have to you so you can sort it out; should be there in a few hours. :) I put a return overnight label in the box. Appreciate the help on this.
