Hello,
i work in France as a cameraman, i've got different specialisations, one of which is "onboard cameras", or "POV cameras". I use different materials for the camera unit and the recorder SD or HD.
My SD favorite pack for my onboard camera is the combination of the Chasecam and the Horus dakar Camera (http://www.horus-video.com/materiel-video-cameras.html). It gives me the best quality and reliability that one can expect.
The camera is fully water proof, and you can modify all settings.
You can set how the camera works in full auto (or not), slow or fast reaction... and modify and set all you dream of (back-lighting)
It's really the perfect combination for broadcast SD pov camera.
