I recorded my enduro race yesterday (approx 90 minutes) and when I just loaded the CF card into my PC...it shows a file with an LUP extension (not MPG).

What is that & how do I get that into a usable file format? I tried renaming it and media player says it's not a valid MPG file.

Thanks much,

Rick

You need to use our .LUP converter "Unloop utility". The exe file is listed under the support section on the site here: http://www.chasecam.com/chasecam-utility-downloads. Download it to the same directory as the .LUP files.

Then open a comand prompt (Start / Run... / 'cmd')

Go to the location of where you saved the file (and the videos). The command is:
'mpgunlup [lup filename] [new mpg filename]

Good luck!

Hi Rick

The normal file for the PDR is .mpg, and you certainly didn't want to have .lup files, even if you don't ask this question. Read what the loop mode is for ( it's a re-recording fonction, used in very special case )
To recover the normal mode, go to the menu of the PDR and change the loop mode. I remembered that the command wasn't logic. I had the same with my first recording.
When there is "loop off" on the display, the loop mode is on and you must to have "loop on" on the display to have it off !
Try to confirm that making a trial.

Hope it's help you
