Currently, the PDR100 is being used successfully by many race teams in conjunction with the AIM DaVid processor, overlaying two camera inputs and data acquisition graphics onto the video live. The PDR100 and ChaseCam bullet cameras require no special software or hardware to function with the DaVid, just miniDIN adapter cables

Power for ONE camera can be provided by the DaVid box (using the lower bank of locking connectors to female 2.1mm DC jack); or power from the MD-A10 miniDIN adapter coming off of the PDR100 can send 12V to one camera (second and third photo) and the secondary camera powered by the DaVid box. All cables can be lengthened, or custom cables can be made. The last photo shows the adapters used for the setup, including the AIM camera power and LANC cable.

The AIM's max output is 130mA. Not enough for two cameras. Splitting the cameras off 2 power supplies just may reduce the load on both.

Hello,

I have PDR100 + SS1000 and I am very happy with them.
You can see some video here :

A friend of mine will sell his DAVID and I have a question:

Can I use my two bullet connected to SS1000 (so I can chose position and dimension of two windows pip, I think with DAVID is not possible) and conntect SS1000 to DAVID and after to PDR 100 ?

Thanks a lot.

I think you can use the SS1000 into one DAVID input and then to the PDR100.
