Suction mount

I need to mount a backup camera on a rental truck. The SM30 looks like my least expensive option. Does anyone have experince/advice re best mount location (with minimal wind - risk of losing)? The truck is a 26' penske - big box with cargo door. I was thinking top or side(near top).

Or - maybe there is a way to attach it to rear door (aluminum i think).

If there is anywhere to grab onto, the portable clamp mount would be my first choice.

Second idea would be if there was a 1/4" or slightly larger hole and then use our Universal Adapter to mount a bullet camera.

You can use the suction mount with tether, but it will not stick as well for a long time on any non-smooth surface. Unless the aluminum was polished, it is probably not very smooth. If it is a smooth glossy painted surface, that should be fine.
