Can the PDR100 be hard-mounted on a kart? My friend wants to try my unit on his 125 shifter kart, attached to the frame directly with the camera also, but the vibrations are just insane and i'm affraid the DVR can't take the abuse, it's nothing like mounting to a normal racecar, and i'm not sure it can be done. Anyone here tried it?

The biggest reason I originally designed the recorder was for my 125cc shifter.
Just use the mounting bracket and retainer and attach it to the outside of the seat.
Many customers including myself have done this. The only thing we have learned is that if you use the internal battery model (which you normally would) is that the unit should be mounted with the door facing front or back because severe bouncing can make the batteries momentarily lose contact. Another fix for this is to use internal batteries and a separate external battery.
Vibrations. These units are used on off road, intentional crashes, military drops from planes, hydroplanes, and formula 1.
