R.L.C. worked closely with Chase CAM to produce the only truly synchronized video. Data is actually embedded in the video file to create just one file. By embedding the data in the video file we ensure that the data being taken by the R.L.C. race dash (RPM, speed, GPS track position, brakes, engine temp, etc.) is in fact directly linked to the video being recorded by the camera. Now when you play your log file on the PC Race Analysis Software your video, data, and GPS track position are exactly linked. You can click any place on the track and your video and data will all jump to that exact position. Knowing that your data and video are truly synchronized you can analyze your data in more depth than ever before. You can see the exact position you applied the brakes, when you dove into a turn, and when got back on the throttle. Compare this to your fastest lap and you will improve your lap times in no time at all. A sample synchronized video file can be downloaded for testing from the website, www.rlcracing.com.
You will never again forget to press the record button on your camera or run out of space on your memory card because you're recording while in the hot pits. The Chase CAM camera system is completely controlled and directly plugged into any one of the R.L.C. race dashes. The race dash turns the camera on and starts/stop recording when the dash starts/stops logging data. Files are time and date stamped for easy reference.
With a R.L.C. race dash connected to a Chase CAM camera, using DashWare is even easier! The data and video are already synchronized so there are no additional steps, you just have to press play. You can quickly add a R.L.C. dashboard, track map, and other gauges to customize your video to your liking. Samples videos can be found at the website, www.rlcracing.com.
