Latest Update Problem

Haven't done an update in a while (over a year, maybe a year and a half) in my PDR. Put the .bin file onto the CF, plugged in the PDR, held down the menu button, hit power. Showed updating... please wait. Erasing.

It self powered down, as it should.

Turning back on... just a blank backlit screen. No text. Left it that way for a minute. Won't power down via button, have to unplug.

Ideas?

Sounds like something went wrong and it did not complete the reflash correctly (possibly a power glitch during the update cycle could do this).

The solution is to have us do a factory reflash and then check it out. Sorry for the hassle, but we would be happy to do this, just fill out an RMA form and send it to us.
