problem during installation!

I can't install the dashware software!!! after unzip, the system goes crash!!! i tried on 2 pc's!

In a previus message, Mark tell you :

" Also could you give us a few more details about the crash? Does the software install complete? Do you get any message from the software before the crash?"

In all the case, the men who can answer you and make that soft perfectly working as it's normal way, absolutly need details, even if it's very difficult to understand what happen to you.

Thanks for the screenshot. We suspect that we have a bug handling foreign languages, which is why the program exits. We are trying to reproduce here by installing italian version of XP. We will let you know when we find something.

We are using a light weight version of the Microsoft .NET 3.5 SP1Framework. We are using the light weight version to lessen install times but now we are wondering if perhaps we need the full version. It's of course one of those things where it works for all of us, on all of our machines, but it seems like a few people are having some kind of crashing bugs like you. This obviously makes it hard to debug.


Could you try going here and installing the full version of the .NET 3.5 SP1 Framework:

This may take a while to install and sometimes it can appear to be frozen (which is exactly why we tried the light weight version in the first place :)


Once that is complete, give DashWare another try and let us know if it helped. If it still doesn't work. it will at least narrow it down for us.
