Auto Record Not Functioning Properly

I installed my chase cam into my race car. I just got back from VIR (Virginia Int'l Raceway) and no video (?).

I checked the settings, which seem to be correct. One thing I did notice, the PDR100 does not power up when turning the iginition ON. Should it do this automatically?

I could use some troubleshooting help, because I'm going to Pocono Raceway next weekend and would like to get some in-car video.

Excuse the simple questions, but we'll start from the top:

Do you have the PDR wired to switched 12V power? Please confirm with a voltmeter.

Is the red/white switch inside the door of the PDR in the right position? It should be pushed away from the door.

These two things should make the PDR power up when the ignition is turned on.
