I installed the trial version of the software (nice but wish the export feature worked so you could check the quality of the video, especially the HiDef, maybe a watermark or something)
Seems that windows movie maker broke after the install as the Mpeg4 video codec's weren't working and only the audio was being processed.
The uninstall did the trick/ along with a restart.

We use MainConcept Directshow Codecs which are regarded as some of the best codecs in the industry. Microsoft has a fairly open system of managing codecs (google Directshow codec hell if you are curious). We decided to install codecs with a higher priority, so that our users can take advantage of the codecs in other applications. This allows people who do not have an mpeg2 codec for example to play mpeg2s in Windows Media Player. Unfortunately, as you found this can cause conflicts between codecs(directshow hell). We will discuss it more, but I think the best thing to do is to install the mainconcept codecs with a low merit, which will make them not interfere with any other codecs, but applications other than DashWare will not be able to take advantage of them.

I am also interested if there is a way to rotate the GPS map data, to be able to work with the track layout VS. video layout a bit more.

Thanks for the feedback!
We plan on adding more component types in the future and enhancing some of the existing ones. Rotating the track map would be a great feature.
Thanks,
Rolf
