Do I need to put a resistor in the harness to control amperage to the remote indicator LEDs? What voltage is the LED supply?
Thanks!

Resistors are installed on the recorder. We drive the LEDs with 3.3Volts through 130 ohm resistors to the anodes. Cathode is tied to ground.

Cool - Thanks!

That's great info. Next time I build a remote start/stop/LED system I won't have to bother putting LEDs in series now.

Another LED question.
I have a dual-color LED momentary switch where the anode and cathode flip for each color - there are only two contacts for the LED. They do not have two anodes and one cathode.
Is there anyway to have them work properly?

I don't think so.

I noodled on this a bit more. Would some transistors triggered by the LED drivers on the chasecam work? I think it would take four to manage the voltage potential direction each way. Two forward and two reversed.
Thoughts?

I think you could create a circuit to drive the LEDs. You have a voltage to indicate which one is on. Just be careful.
