problems uninstalling and installing

i've done this a decent amount lately, and seem to have a lot of problems doing so. the uninstall never seems to fully complete or the install doesn't. i got a clean 1.05 free system, the uninstall did complete, i reboot and am trying 1.06 and it's just kind of hanging now. 90% of the bar is there and it says please wait. been sitting here some time.

Very strange. I have not seen that one myself, installing/uninstalling on my various PCs. Do you have problems with any other installers?

no i do not. i have left the installer running on this one for 24 hours now, all at please wait at 90%. i'm running the dashware.msi file. this happens on both my work laptop and my home computer.
