Registration key not working on 2nd install

Hope someone can help me out, first post :)

I installed dashware recently and made a video very easily with my traqmate data.

My computer needed a restore so I re-installed dashware and my registration key isn't working. It just keeps saying that the license or key or whatnot isn't working or valid? This happens everytime I press the register button just like I did the first time.

Thanks for any help, hoping to get this running for an event in 2 weeks with the GTR, should be nice and exciting :)

Also, just to add any more info that may be needed:

Before when I downloaded Dashware for the 1st time it didn't prompt me to enter the administrator name & password before getting to the screen where I can press the "register" button.

Now, on my second time installing Dashware, everytime I open the program it prompts me to enter my administrator info before I can even get to the free trial or section for registering with my license key that was emailed to me.

What gives? Each time it says my product/license key isn't valid, I'm sure I entered the numbers correctly, usually I just copy and paste the license key number over to the registration window (where you enter your name, company, and license key).

Billy,

Mark or Rolf should be able to help with this. My guess would be that the 'administrator info' is something windows is requiring to run the program, and that something changed in your windows setup when you had to restore windows. My first test would be to completely uninstall DashWare and install it again, but you're probably better off waiting until Mark or Rolf can reply, as they're more knowledgeable.

I am facing the same problem now.

I installed the version from the CD which was delivered with my chasecam. When I recognized that it was an old version I uninstalled it and downloaded the the free trial version. When I try to start it I get the message that an administrator is required (I am the administrator). After typing my name and password i got this message

It is still not working. Got the same message.

That 1.1.73 beta build should have worked. It looks like you are somehow still running the old one.

We just released a newer 1.1.81 build with those fixes, plus more:

Give it a shot. You can always check what version you are running via the Help Menu > About DashWare...

If you still have problems, let me know. We'll get you working.
