First, I would like to say I have been using ChaseCam PDR100 for a few years and I am happy with the product, and service. I really like the integration with my Traqmate system. I just turn on Traqmate and when I get a GPS signal the PDR100 starts recording. I don't even have to turn the PDR100 unit on.
However, I do have an issue that the unit only records in SD. Good HD cameras are inexpensive and the video is solid. In these days, using SD is behind the times. I am suprised the technology for the PDR100 has not really changed since I purchase the system a few years ago when every 6 months computer technology is out of date. Yes, new firmware has been introduced and g-force can be displayed, but the video is still the same.
Yes, I know HD files are huge and practically choke my computer when processing, but I still want HD. I have a Good HD Camcorder that I could put in my car, but I don't want the trouble of sync'ing the data and video.
Again, I am happy with the product but you need to move to the current technology or people will move to another platform.
