Does this tap into exisiting Data acquisition systems, if so will it work with Motec? Or does it capture the data itself.

Both.
It captures GPS, accelerometer, rpm, and a 0-5v sensor of your choice. This gives you:
Speed
RPM
Heading
Track Map
Lap Times
G-forces (in all 3 axis)
and one additional parameter via 0-5v (Throttle, boost, temp, pressure, etc.)
It can also plug into OBD2 and take in data from another data acquisition system via RS232. This makes the capability nearly limitless.

Are there "drivers" for various RS232 inputs? I'm using a Zeitronix system that is currently plugged into a DashDaq but would love to get rid of the DashDaq and have the data logged on the PDR with the video.
Also, can it take input from OBD2 and RS232 simultaneously? I need that to remove the DashDaq...
Very cool!

Also, will there be a discounted/upgrade price for those of us that already purchases DashWare? I just bought mine today :)

One more question: Can the data module trigger recording in the PDR based on speed instead of the current GForce trigger? For example, I'd like to start recording when speed exceeds 20MPH and stop recording if the cars is moving less than 20MPH for say a minute.

We are working with Zeitronix on an integration. We have a very good relationship with them.
There is one AUX input where you can send RS232 or use our OBD2 cable.
If you already have DashWare, call us and we'll ensure you don't pay for it twice :)
No speed based triggering at the moment.
Thanks!

Cool, just ordered one :)
Looking forward to the Zeitronix integration.
