I recently upgraded the firmware on my PDR100 and hooked up a remote start switch. I tried to set the camera to write the time on the video, but regardless of the settings I used (clear background, black background) I can't see any time information on the video. The camera display says "Turn Monitor ON". What does that mean? What am I missing to get the time stamp on the video?
Thanks, Chris BMWCCA CM #175

Under FEATURES and ON SCREEN DISPLAYS you should see the time feature. Once in that menu you hit the "2" key just below where it says TURN DISPLAY ON.
Thanks.

I had the same problem and double checked based on your instruction Randall and still don't get the time and date stamp on the video. G-force overlay works but not the time and date.
What am I missing?
Thanks,
John

BTW I did what Randall said and it worked. He has been very helpful on several issues. Chris

Hmm, I hit the "2" in that menu both when it said "Turn On" and Turn Off" just to make sure and no time date stamp in either condition...
Thanks anyway, guess I will call them on Monday. They were great when I bought the unit.
