I’m confused about the left to right G-meter readings. The bar seems to move in the correct direction, but the numbers don’t correspond. I set the range G scale to 2G on the PDR100 before going out in my kart. When I made a left turn the bar moved to the right and the G reading on the right hand side of the screen showed 1.44 and the left side showed 0.63. This is what I expected. However, when I made a right turn the G-meter bar moves to the left, but the G number on the right hand side showed 1.75 and the left side reading showed 0.25. I thought the number on the side the bar is swinging to would go higher.
I encountered the same symptom when I mounted the PDR in my street car before putting it on the kart. Prior to going out in the kart, I reset the orientation to the factory preset. I mounted the PDR on the kart’s drivers left between the sidepod and the driver. I oriented the PDR with the LCD screen facing up and door to the CF card facing the rear of the kart. So I think I have all my settings of the device correct.
