I can play the .LUP with VLC but it does not let me trim pieces of.
How do I re-save them as Mpeg?

I downloaded mpgunlup.exe How do I run it in Vista?

If you download the codec for mpg files you should be able to use many standard editors. I've used Windows Media Player to edit, but there are obviously much better ones.

With mpgunlup.exe, are you using the command prompt in Vista?

You can "transcode" video files inside of VLC. Save them as some other file, such as MPEG.
