Our ultimate goal is to allow users the ability to import/export gauges within the DashWare program so we can all share our gauge creations with our friends and the world. For now, this is a slightly more manual process, but is still quite easy once you know where to drop the folder.
In Windows Vista, the below image shows where DashWare stores all it's goodies:

Gauges and Templates are made up of multiple files in a folder. The easiest way to transmit this is to ZIP the folder into a .zip file and post/email it. This usually involves a right click on the folder and choosing "Send To.." then "Compressed (zipped) folder". On most computers this will automatically create a [folder_name].zip file in the same directory as the folder.
The receiver of the file can then unzip the folder into their Gauges or Templates directory and it will be available to them the next time they start DashWare.
Settings and Profiles are stored as single .xml files, so it is not required that they by zipped in order to share them with other users. They can simply be emailed/posted and copied into the receiver's respective folder and they will be available next time they start DashWare.
I've attached a sample gauge that you can use to practice this with. I've modified one of our logger dash gauges so the RPM goes to 11k.
