Would it be possible to add a checkbox to all those dialog questions that says "please remember my response and never ask me again"?

For example, to load a ChaseCam data/video, I get asked these same questions, which I answer exactly the same each time:

- The file resides on a data card, do you want to copy it to the project. NO

- The file contains ChaseCam data, do you want to extract it? YES

- Cylinders? Don't ask me if I don't have RPM setup. If I do, I only want to answer once since my car never gains or loses cylinders. Although I which it could :)

Thanks,
Pete

Hi Pete, thanks for all your suggestions!

This one is on our list. We want to add those "stop annoying me" check boxes to those dialogs and a way to edit the default settings for them in an options dialog.

The last one you can actually already do (cylinder count):

Go into the File Menu > Edit Data Profiles...then choose the ChaseCam data profile and make your own clone of it.
In your clone, in the bottom left area of the dialog you will see the Calculators. Double click on the "PPM to RPM Converter" and it's properties editor should pop up.
Enter your correct cylinder count in that dialog and uncheck the "Always prompt for cylinder count" box.

DashWare will auto-choose your clone when you add your data from now on, and you won't get the cylinder count prompt anymore.

Thanks,
Rolf
