HI

In the last few recordings I have noticed horizontal lines when accelerating hard and some of the video footage missing. I have the PDR 12gig card under the seat of FJR. Recorder and cameras are getting power from cig socket on bike. Video quality very good at start when bike is idle put as soon as I give it gas there is lines in video and it will not recorded the full lenght of biker ride out.

sylvester,

It sounds like you aren't getting a clean power source from the bike. We've found on some cars (usually heavily modified race cars) that the power source has noise, which produces horizontal lines on the video screen, specifically when using an SS1000.

We've developed a Power Isolation Module (PIM) that should remedy this issue. It plugs into the SS1000 and the original power source plugs into the PIM. You can find it here: http://www.chasecam.com/node/155

Thanks.

Yeah, that's definitely a noise issue. The PIM should fix that.

Thanks!
