DM10 G force

I have the DM10, and a PDR with the G force module.

The G force will display on the PDR with the traditional left/right braking/accel on screen. I cannot seem to figure out how to get that data into the dashware data file.

When I look at that file, there is no data in the gf_x, gf_y, or gf_z columns which tells me the PDR isn't writing the data to the file. I've wandered around the menus on the pdrs (I have 1 of the older style with g force, and 1 of the newer style PDR, also with g force.) I have tried g force embed on and off on both units. Neither option seems to write data in those columns.

Any help would be appreciated.

Wizco,

Try MENU / FEATURES / GFORCE DATA EMBED. Make sure it is turned ON.

OK. I figured out the problem.

I turn embed on. The PDR is turned off, and the next time the PDR is turned on, embed returns to off. I had assumed that like many other settings on the PDR, once set, it was saved.

How do I save the setting to keep embed turned on everytime it records?

You must have downloaded the firmware during the 1-2 days that bug was in it. Please re-download the latest firmware and it will save your settings when powered off.
