aim trouble

Hi i have been trying out the dashware software with the data from my Aim mxl datab logger, but i can only get it to display the speed and lap time , no other channels work, can someone tell me where i am possibly going wrong.

Paul,

When you say "display" do you mean on the gauges or in the Analysis sections? Go into Analysis by Time and see if you can add more parameters to the charts. If you can, then it's a matter of creating/assigning values to the gauges on the video.

I am also having a lot of problems with my AIM to Dashware integration. I have tried mapping fields, spending weekends and weekends trying to get it to work to no avail.

I exported to Excel and mapped the fields to the gauges, but the time never works, the RPMs go for the first 10 secs and then everything goes to 0 even though I have an huge data set.

It has been very frustrating and with a full time job and part time racing, I don't have the time to spend hours trying to figure out how to make it work. I have followed the instructions from the AIM to Dashware integration in a thread on this forum.

I have an MXL Pista and ChaseCam with the G-Force module.

Please let me know how we can work together so I can make this work as I would like to keep your products, but if I can't get data and video integration this way I would need to consider an alternative.

Ricky,

There should be another DashWare release in a week or two that will address the AIM issue. They export the time column differently than everyone else, and do not maintain a total running time, which is where the issue lies. We are implementing a workaround and should have it out soon.

So, I have version 1.1.4, but still cannot get it to work. Nada..

It is very frustrating...spent a cross-country flight working on it. Still seems without the running time, it won't work.

Any ideas?
