Unless I am misinterpreting them they look wrong. Now I don't think this is a Chase Cam problem, rather my setup. The chasecam is mounted on the bottom of the door in my tail. Calibration is a bit tough as I need to push the button close the door accelerate and then open the door and push the button. I think this is screwing up the orientation setting though I cannot really do it any other way.

Here is some video with it showing the GForce on the display:

Thanks for any help otherwise it might make sense to just display time.

First off, your lateral g's are going to be funky on a motorcycle because of the lean of the bike itself (and thus the recording unit). That said, it still doesn't look right.

You can also try either setting it by pushing the bike or setting it on a table if you can simulate the same angle. I'd imagine it would work with one guy on either side of the bike, push the button, roll bike forward and stop, push button again. It doesn't have to be fast or harsh, just enough for it to sense movement. Likewise, if you orient it correctly on a table top, you can push the button, slide it directly 'forward', and push the button again and it should work. This isn't the most accurate way, but it may be the best for your situation.

Thanks.

Not sure that would work as the issue is the unit is basically inside the bike and cannot be touched without moving it. I think I will run time in a couple of weeks. The GForce bars are neat looking but just eye candy while the auto record stuff that uses them are gold.

Thank you for the quick support

I ran into a similar problem (not on a bike, just hard to access.)

I installed a newer firmware, and the instructions seemed to change, and make more sense.
Now, I don't know for sure that I was doing it wrong, but afterwards it seemed to work just fine.

Good luck.
