View Full Version : DashWare Trial Installation Problem

Hi there,

wanted to check the software trial with my video and AIM mychron4 data before buying it. Unfortunately, after installing, when I start it, it pops up an error message like in the attachement.

When I click ok, I can't import my h264 avi video file.

Can you please help me and let me know, what I have done wrong or have to do?

Hi,

This sounds like a problem with the codecs on your machine. We know that we currently have conflict with Trackvision and divx, and very soon we will have a solution to fix this. In the short term can you uninstall divx or trackvision and uninstall and reinstall DashWare.

That could be the problem. I have both installed, trackvision and divx. Will uninstall them and reinstall Dashware. Thanks for your help. I'll keep you updated.

I tried it. Unfortunately without success. I uninstalled divx and trackvision. Reinstalled dashware after restart.

The same error message appeared. When I try to import a video file eg your sample mpg file) an error message like "invalid file" appears.

Any ideas?

No ideas? I seriously would like to buy the software, but when it doesn't work on my pc, i can't use it.
