Bulletin board "weirdness"?

BTW - I just re-registered, but "you" won't allow me to start a new thread in the PDR forum Hence, I had to put it here - Please feel free to move.

I just tried to post a reply in the PDR forum, and it keeps asking me to login :( I'm obviously logged in right now, but can't even respond in there...... Help!

We've had some glitches with the new forum. Try refreshing the page and see if it does anything. Our webmaster is looking into these issues.

OK - That seems to work - Very odd - I login, either from the login screen or at the top of the page. I get the "thanks for logging in" screen and then get returned to wherever I came from - Still looking for me to login. I refresh the screen, and "voila" all is good..... :rolleyes:

Note that the behavior is different between the "general discussion" and "PDR" boards however. Very strange....

I've also noticed similar "weirdness" in the index screen - For example, in the index, screen, I could see that you had posted the above response, but when I opened the thread it wasn't there! - Again, a screen refresh corrected it.

As a follow up, what the devil is going on with the "Posting dates"? For example, I *know* I started this thread many days ago, but it's now saying "yesterday". Hmmm - Now it appears to have corrected itself.....

The same problem also appeared in my "PDR locking up" thread :( [I thought initially "you" were trying to cover for the lack of a "timely" response, but now believe the boards are just broken...... ]

Can we have the old forums back please? :eek:
