Default Fully integrated system with MoTec and ChaseCam

I apologise if this has been covered elsewhere. I am currently finalising the electrical installation for my rally car and want the loom to be made so that all the hardware is integrated initially so that there isn't additional 'add ons'.

The hardware I have is ;

MoTec ADL#1 c/w i2Pro
ChaseCam PDR100 c/w G-Force option
ChaseCam SS1000

I want to sync data from the ADL with video footage. I understand I am unable to use the VSM from MoTec as this isn't compatable with my earlier ADL.

Using the new Dashware ( which I intend to purchase ) do I have to have an additional g-force sensor to give a data i/p into the data logging or can I utilise the ChaseCam info from the PDR and use that in Dashware but in the more modern / better format as opposed to the 2 bars as per pre Dashware ?

As regard to synching data and video is it a matter of doing that manually or is there another way ?

If there is anything I need to buy to allow this, now is the time.

Many thanks in advance.

Andy.

Andy,

Yes, you can record the GF from the ChaseCam and use it in DashWare instead of the "2 bars" on the screen.

I wasn't aware that the earlier ADLs couldn't sync with the PDR. Let me see if I can research this more and get you a definitive answer.

Thanks,
Randall

Andy,

Please see the MoTeC manual on our website here:
http://www.chasecam.com/files/Manual...aseCam_1_5.pdf

Page 24 (numbered 22) shows you how to wire up the MoTeC ADL to trigger the PDR so that your video and data will be in sync.

Thanks!

Andy,

I have the same setup. Any chance you can post info on how you solved your issue?

Thanks !
