Recording failure

Not sure why, but I get solid green, push record and get alternating red/green flashing for the whole race, but when I go to download and view video there is nothing there. I purposely checked at the end of the race and saw that it was still flashing red/green prior to shutting off the PDR. Any clues why not recording? This has happened now three times with last time, I was more meticulous to be sure I followed precise procedure on recording.
