Lap number does not freeze like lap time

Hi,
I am using Dashware 1.2.0.
This deals with the lap number, lap time guage. The title of the guage in toolbox is "Component - Lap". This guage has a gray rectangle with "LAP: 0" and another gray rectangle under that with "0:00.0".

I use an AiM EVO4 logger. The AiM software generates the CSV file and almost everything works perfectly.
The one thing that bothers me is that when i come around the track and pass the lap start/stop position, the time for the lap just completed freezes for the number of seconds that i specify. I really like this feature. Unfortunately, the lap number does NOT freeze for that same number of seconds. So when a cross the start/finish track position, the time for lap 9 will display for 5 seconds but the lap number will immediately go from lap 9 to lap 10 when i cross the start/stop position. Thus, when watching the video, you see the lap time for lap 9 displayed for five seconds along with lap number 10. The lap number should be 9 as well for five seconds and THEN go to 10 when the lap time starts running again after being frozen for 5 seconds.

Why can't the lap number also freeze for the same duration so you'll see lap 9 and lap 9's lap time for five seconds?
